Postdoctoral Researcher (100%, E13 TV-L) (m/f/d)
at the earliest possible date. We are an international team studying the function of signal transduction molecules and their posttranslational modifications such as ubiquitination in bacterial infections. We are seeking for an enthusiastic candidate to carry out research on the regulation of cytokine receptor and pattern recognition receptor induced signal transduction by ubiquitination and SUMOylation. The research works include clinically motivated in vitro and in vivo basic research as well as clinical research projects.
Your tasks:
- planning, organization, execution of experiments under S2 conditions and by using modern molecular biological, protein biochemical and immunological methods
- co-support of PhD students and medical students
- publication of the results in renowned journals
- drafting of applications.
Our requirements:
- completed studies in biology, biochemistry, biomedicine or similar
- completed doctorate in a field qualifying for the biochemical and molecular biological works in the group
- a valid authorization for the performance of animal tests (according to TierSchVersV, FELASA-B or FELASA-B equivalent, respectively) is requested and the collaboration in animal tests is a precondition
- practical experience in the basic molecular biological, protein biochemical and, if applicable, methods involving animal tests
- ability to work in a team, high motivation, reliability and flexibility
- good command of German and English as well as good computer skills (e. g. Windows, Office, Prism)
- strong interest in research works
