Your Challenges and Tasks:
An interdisciplinary working group from MHH and the University of Oldenburg will use a large database of clinical and auditory data to research the causes of hearing loss and develop, apply, and evaluate methods for improving the diagnosis and prediction of hearing loss. In addition, predictions about the success of different therapy approaches will be made on the basis of existing, comprehensive treatment data. The results will be used to develop a decision support system.
Our requirements:
We are seeking candidates that have:
- obtained a Master’s degree in the area of computer sciences, data science, information systems, medical informatics, mathematics, or a comparable course of study,
- strong research experience in (at least) one of the following fields:
- integration and AI-based analysis of medical data
- causal methods
- clinical decision support systems
- medical data science
- very good oral and writing skills in English; German language skills are advantageous
- willingness to work closely with an interdisciplinary project team
- self-initiative and result-oriented working style, and
- publication experience is a bonus
